Educating the Next Generation of Jewish Leaders
Yeshivas Ohr Eliyahu – Lubavitch Mesivta of Chicago exists to educate, inspire, and develop the next generation of Jewish leaders.
Through serious Torah learning, the warmth and vitality of Chassidus, devoted personal mentorship, and meaningful opportunities to serve others, the Mesivta helps each student become a knowledgeable, confident, and deeply committed Jewish young man.
Our students leave prepared to lead in many different ways—as rabbis, shluchim, educators, community builders, professionals, husbands, fathers, and engaged members of the Jewish people.
Their impact begins in Chicago, but it does not remain here. Wherever their lives take them, Mesivta alumni strengthen Jewish identity, build communities, inspire others, and carry the light of Torah and Chassidus forward.

Building the Home for Future Generations
We envision a unified, purpose-built home worthy of the Mesivta's mission—and capable of carrying it into the future.
Today, the Mesivta's students and faculty are spread across four separate buildings. The warmth, learning, and leadership are already here, but the physical environment has not kept pace with the quality or growth of the yeshiva.
The new building will bring the heart of Mesivta life under one roof. It will create a calmer, safer, and more dignified environment where students can focus, faculty can collaborate, and every aspect of the educational experience can work together with intention.
It will also provide the space and infrastructure needed for thoughtful growth—allowing the Mesivta to serve more students, expand its programming, strengthen faculty collaboration, and extend its impact without sacrificing the personal attention and warmth that define the yeshiva.
This is not a project about square footage. It is about creating the environment in which young men can flourish, the Mesivta can grow responsibly, and generations of Jewish leadership can emerge.
For thirty years, Mesivta has built the leaders.
Now, we are building the home that will carry that mission forward.
One unified home. Room to grow. Generations of Jewish impact.
